We thoroughly enjoyed the time that we spent at River's Edge. We wish we could have had more time to enjoy it, but we were staying there with two other family members to be close to our daughter's wedding venue. We were at the wedding venue much more than at the cabin, but would love to come back when we can spend more time relaxing in this adorable and tastfully decorated cabin. We were impressed with everything about the cabin except the very long dusty road to get to the cabin.

We had a wonderful time at Rivers Edge this past weekend, 7/9 & 7/10! The setting is beautiful & serene and the cabin is delightful! All three couples had a wonderful time, albeit the time spent - way too short! Will be back!
We had a fantastic time!!! Family came from eburg and seattle areas...perfect location for it...the weather rocked, the dogs had a blast in the river...we plan on coming back hopefully in sept
Our stay at the River's Edge was, as always, fantastic. Every time we stay there we find one, two, three more reasons to return! River watching has become a new past time.
My husband and I LOVED our stay and will certainly be back again. Our city dog never left the banks of the river and even when inside stayed close to the sliding glass door so that the river was constantly in sight! We have stayed in quite a few rentals from Craigslist and are sometimes disappointed as the pictures online don't truly represent what the cabin is like in reality. I have to say that the River's Edge was represented well online and our expectations were exceeded upon our arrival. Thank you!!
We wanted a quiet weekend getaway to celebrate our 28th anniversary. Hubby wanted to fish, and I wanted to read a book. We also wanted to just be alone. This cabin gave us just what the doctor ordered.
There is a large house too next door, but lucky for us it wasn't occupied. Easy access to the river. Birds in all directions. Cold nights. Sunshine days.
The cabin was exactly what we were looking for ! .....witht he exception of no snow (which we know you have no control over :) It was great for the kids, dog & adults. It was well stocked, very clean & well stocked with basics. We instantly felt right at home!
1. We had an excellent stay; it was quiet, beautiful, restful and just what we hoped for. 2. The location, once we found it, was wonderful. The Yakima River was peaceful and added an extra measure of serenity to the entire stay. We did have difficulty finding it, but after calling the office and speaking with Kevin, we had no problems at all. The street name was very high and hidden by tree branches coming from the Western side of Highway 90. We never did see the Happy Jack or whatever the other identifying sign was; once we knew where to turn we had no trouble with other back and forth trips. 3. The cabin was clean, well supplied and in excellent shape. My hope is we left it equally clean and in good shape; we try very hard to follow an old camper's motto: Always leave your campsite better than when you found it. You made it very hard to improve upon!! 4. We have always had an excellent response with the management staff whenever we have made inquiries and/or stayed at your places. I hope to return in early October and have two additional quests join us. As the plans come together, I'll be back in touch with you. Thank you again for an excellent time away and in a beautiful setting.
Kevin and Wendie: Thank you so much for sharing your incredible cabin with us. Our family of 5 had a very relaxing, fun and enjoyable pre-Christmas stay. The cabin was immaculate, excellent location, well stocked, cozy and comfortable. As a bonus Ken caught his biggest rainbow yet, downstream from the cabin. Thank you again and we would love to come back for a visit in the summer.
Wonderful cabin, so close to the Yakima River that we wondered what happens in the rainy season! A lot of amusing fishing decor, from trout salt-and-pepper shakers to the string of holiday lights featuring canoes and life jackets. It was the perfect retreat for two couples after a day of hiking in the Cascades.

We loved the cabin and the location. The only thing that we weren't pleased about is the neighboring cabin. It doesn't look like it belongs there and its just too close for the ultimate privacy. It ruins the setting of your place. I understand that is out of you control, but that is the only shortcoming of your place. It doesn't put us off enough that we wouldn't stay there again, but it makes your cabin a star from perfect. Overall it was wonderful to stay there. Thank you.

WE HAD AN EXCELLENT TIME. THE CABIN WAS PERFECT. CLEAN NICELY DECORATED AND IT HAD EVERYTHING WE NEEDED. THE RIVER WAS CLOSE BY AND THE SOUND WAS THE WATER WAS SO RELAXING. WE WOULD CERTAINLY STAY HERE AGAIN!!!

The staff and location of River's Edge make the process as easy as it can be. For people that believe getting away is to hard I would encourage you to Contact Kevin. I have used this cabin several times over the past year and always have a great time.
Great location for taking our dogs along. They were happy and tired out from swimming and walking. nice to have the river right behind the house. I would love to have a few lights in the cabin that are bright enough to read by, though.

We had a great trip, albeit short. The cabin is only about 90 minutes from Seattle and traffic on I-90 is light compared to I-5. I would highly recommend this area for a weekend getaway from Seattle city life! We did a nice day hike up the Ingalls Creek trail and then dinner in Roslyn at the pizza joint. It was a very nice day!The hot tub was great and there is even a natural pool formed by a downed tree that provides for a perfect cold plunge.The one downside was the many yellow jackets around the house.
